Multimedia Specialist
Hello, I'm Yasmeen.
Welcome to my portfolio.
I am a dedicated and energetic multimedia creative with experience across visual, written, and audio media. I specialize in storytelling and high-quality content creation, bringing a strong attention to detail and a thoughtful approach to crafting narratives that engage and resonate with audiences. With a solid foundation in media studies and a genuine passion for creative production, I bring a fresh and strategic perspective to every project.
I earned my degree in Journalism & Media Studies from Mercer University, where I produced radio content as a reporter for Georgia Public Broadcasting, launched and hosted the Black Girl Tea Party podcast, and served as a media content manager intern with the Georgia Council on Aging. My work has been recognized through honors such as Outstanding Journalist, Fulbright Scholar Semi-Finalist, and keynote speaker for the Media Changemakers Scholarship Competition (2021).
I later advanced to serve as Head of Studio Operations at YOU42, an Atlanta-based media recording and production company. In this role, I supported the development of creative content for prominent figures including Atlanta rapper and activist Killer Mike, as well as major productions such as FUBU Radio and One Music Fest. These experiences have shaped my ability to lead production environments, collaborate with diverse creative teams, and deliver polished multimedia content with intention and impact.
